Food is always fresh and well prepared. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. My wife has a gluten allergy and we have never had an issue. By looking at the building, you would never know what goodness is hiding inside. The dining room is small but we have never had a problem getting a table. This place is a hidden gem.
Dined in on a Saturday. The staff was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Prices are very reasonable and the sushi was super fresh. We ordered the Sushi for Two, which was very worth it. Stop by this place if youre ever in the area for a no frills sushi experience.

I always enjoy dinner at akebono. The sushi has always been great, as is the service. Patty makes each visit special. You cant go wrong with any of their rolls. As for apps, we always get the spicy tuna tartar, but recently we also tried their garlic edamame. It was delicious and well probably be ordering two appetizers from now on.
I just have to say Akebono is one of the best sushi joints around the greater Huntington area! I have had a variety of rolls and always great and the prices are awesome too. The owner is engaging and brings the spirit as well.
